We are looking for 2 Business Content Writers for Business writing (long form) and
corporate social media writing (mainly LinkedIn). The Candidate should be strong
at storytelling & content writing, editorial planning, and understanding of finance
and economic trends, with knowledge of social media platforms.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Generate fresh ideas and create monthly content calendars (campaigns); writing
engaging business-oriented social media content – both short-form posts and long-
form articles - for corporates.
- Ability to service corporate accounts with day-to-day content writing strategy and support.
- Candidate should be able to write well-researched, long-form, thought-provoking content.
- Track trending conversations and topics on social and business media, creating a
calendar that identifies moments and organic opportunities for driving engagement.
- Understand the broader media and conversational ecosystem on social media
platforms like LinkedIn and Twitter. Should be adept with digital storytelling and
content ideas.
- Must have a sound understanding of the metrics of social media platforms –
impressions, engagement, and engagement rate to drive month-on-month growth
organically.
- Write clean, concise, well-polished content for social media while staying up-to-date
with the latest industry trends.
- Candidate should have an eye for detail and work with a sense of ownership to run
the account with strategic and digital acumen. Should display critical thinking,
creativity, self-motivation and time management .
Job Requirements
• 3-5 years of working Experience as a business content writer, business journalist, or
researcher; submitting a portfolio of published or past articles will help.
• Understanding the nuances of different social media platforms – post length,
character limit, tagging handles, choosing hashtags, etc. is a must.
• Experience in corporate writing and storytelling. Due exposure to corporate websites,
corporate news centers, annual reports, whitepapers, B2B industry blogs, writing
PoV or thought-leadership media articles.
• Should be able to interact with clients with maturity and intellect. Should preferably
be a post-graduate in English, Journalism, Economics or a similar field.
Agency/News Publication experience or background in corporate writing, business writing,
or business journalism would be an added advantage
