Job description
We're looking for energetic Business Writers - Social Media & Digital with a focus on LinkedIn to join our growing team in Chandivali, Andheri East, Mumbai (onsite role, full-time work from office) with 2-3 years of experience.
The writer will manage corporate LinkedIn accounts and produce fresh, creative content and copy, from social media posts to longform blogs, case studies & marketing collateral.
The candidate must have an understanding of business and finance. Should have experience in business and social media (LinkedIn) writing and be able to demonstrate this in their writing portfolio.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Business Writer – Social Media & Digital with a focus on LinkedIn, you will be responsible for managing B2B client retainer accounts and building & maintaining a strong relationship with the client.
• Write clean, concise, well-polished business content across short social media posts and longform research-oriented content; the content should have freshness of ideas, storytelling and creativity in expression.
• Prepare monthly performance reports and the plan the content calendar for the coming month. Should be able to demonstrate growth in numbers through a strategic yet engaging long-term content and campaigns for clients.
• Monitoring post-performance and adjusting the content strategy accordingly. Must have an expert understanding of the metrics of social media platforms - impressions, engagement, and engagement rate to drive month-on-month growth organically.
• Tracking trending conversations and topics on social and business media, creating a content calendar that identifies moments and organic opportunities for driving engagement and followers.
• Candidate should be detail oriented and have an "ownership mindset" to create engaging content. Should display critical thinking, creativity, self-motivation and time management.
• Should be able to interact with clients with maturity and intellect while being a team player.
Job Requirements
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in business content writing at an agency. Experience as a business content writer, business journalist, or researcher; submitting a portfolio of published or past articles and deep social media content is a must.
Education: Graduates or Postgraduates in English, Business Journalism, Business Communication, Marketing Communications, Economics
