JOB DESCRIPTION
• Communications professional - accountable for strategic business writing and content development for various projects (across diverse companies and industries)
• Writing crisp, engaging, and jargon-free copies on behalf of companies, which will interest investors and an audience of non-experts
• Core job involves secondary research – reading the corporate website, brochure, investor presentation, press releases, published interviews, industry reports on the company, and research reports on the industry
• Interact and interview CXOs and top management of companies
• Draft an interesting and compelling narrative for external stakeholder communications (akin to a cover story of a business magazine but one that is broken into various chapters - Business highlights, Chairman's letter, demystifying the company’s business model, theme-centric chapters related to the company, etc.)
• In addition, draft out short formal business sections on the economic overview, industry overview & key trends, SWOT, company performance, risks & challenges, outlook, etc. (all from the secondary research & interviews)
• Additionally, the job may involve business content writing for various leadership/ profiles for company businesses, internal stakeholder communication, case studies or developing content for corporate websites/collaterals
