Job Summary:
Roots Premier League, a prominent sports industry company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sponsorship and Partnerships Manager to join our team. As the Sponsorship and Partnerships Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our organization by securing and managing sponsorships and strategic partnerships. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and a proven track record in developing and managing successful sponsorship and partnership initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Identify, approach, and secure sponsorship opportunities with local, national, and international companies, brands, and organizations
Develop and implement innovative sponsorship strategies to maximize revenue generation and enhance brand exposure for both Roots Premier League and its sponsors
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing sponsors, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their sponsorship needs and objectives, and develop tailored sponsorship packages to meet those requirements
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential sponsors and partnership opportunities that align with the goals and values of Roots Premier League
Prepare and deliver compelling sponsorship proposals and presentations to potential sponsors, highlighting the unique benefits and value of partnering with Roots Premier League
Negotiate sponsorship contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms for both parties
Monitor and track sponsorship activation and deliverables, ensuring all obligations are met by both Roots Premier League and its sponsors
Evaluate the success of sponsorship campaigns and initiatives, and provide regular reports and analysis to management and sponsors
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field (MBA preferred)
Proven track record in securing and managing sponsorships and partnerships in the sports industry or a related field
Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Excellent understanding of sponsorship and partnership trends and best practices
Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop innovative sponsorship and partnership opportunities
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on revenue generation and achieving targets
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple sponsorships and partnerships simultaneously
Knowledge of the sports industry, particularly in relation to sponsorship and partnership dynamics
