About Us
Finance Management Australian Asia Pacific is a meat processing and wholesaling business based in Forest Glen, Queensland. We are a growing pet treat manufacturer specialising in high-quality processed and dried pet treats.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Butcher to join our production team. This role involves preparing, trimming, processing, and portioning raw meat products that will be further processed into dried pet treats. The ideal candidate will have strong knife skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of hygiene and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Cutting, trimming, deboning, and portioning meat to specification
Preparing raw materials for drying and further processing
Operating meat processing equipment (mincers, slicers, band saws, etc.)
Maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards
Ensuring consistent product quality and portion control
Cleaning and sanitising equipment and work areas
Assisting with stock rotation and inventory control
Following workplace health & safety guidelines
Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a butcher or meat processor (preferred)
Strong knife handling and meat preparation skills
Knowledge of food safety standards and safe work practices
Ability to work in a cold production environment
Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
