Responsibilities
Cut, trim, and prepare various cuts of meat according to customer specifications and company standards.
Ensure all meat products are packaged properly and labeled accurately for display.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the meat preparation area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selections and answering any questions they may have.
Monitor inventory levels of meat products and communicate needs for restocking to management.
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety and quality of all products.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to support food preparation needs as required.
Skills
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers.
Proficient in food handling techniques and knowledgeable about food safety practices.
Experience in food preparation, particularly in a butcher or meat cutting role, is preferred.
Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Attention to detail in packaging and labeling meat products accurately.
Knowledge of different cuts of meat and their uses within culinary applications is a plus.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
