A leading manufacturer are searching for a Senior Buyer to join their Buying team.
Location:
Rayleigh
Hours:
7:30am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Buyer you will manage the procurement of materials, goods and services. You will be responsible for ensuring you are optimising the cost , cash and quality of the service. Assist with managing the day to day procurement operations Negotiate and agree on contracts, monitoring the quality of services provided Conduct research to find the best suppliers for product, cost and quality Maintain strong supplier relationships Work towards all new strategies put into place Attend supplier meetings and trade conferences Work closely with the Procurement Manager Comprehensive understanding of supply chain Ad-hoc duties Your Experince:
Knowledge within procurement/supply chain or inventory They would be looking to put the right candidate through their CIPS qualifications Important Notice:
