Job Description We are recruiting for a Menswear Buyer or Senior Buyer to join a global footwear and accessories brand based in London. This role is a 1 year FTC.Some responsibilities:
Uses trend and market data to give partners an overview of footwear developments; presenting this in a engaging and confident manner
Takes responsibility to ensure the samples and showrooms are set up and presented in a timely and appropriate manner
Develops a number of critical paths to work in conjunction with the seasons and variable selling periods
Manage department critical path and minimise risk to the business accordingly
Works closely with our partners to understand sales performance, emerging trends, and category mixes and react accordingly
Develops ranges, through a reliable and flexible supplier base ensuring price and quality
Develops the best commercial range for the target market, giving clear briefs and working very closely with the Design team.
Understand, react and deliver market specific product or requirements
About you:
Have at least 4 years of experience as a buyer
Have at least 3 years of experience within footwear buying
Must have buying experience within Mens fashion or Mens accessories and footwear
Strong Communication Proficient in Microsoft Office/Systems This role is based near Westfield - Shepherds Bush and offers hybrid working (Mon, Tues and Thurs in the office, the rest from home)
