The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Childsplay Clothing Team. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Buying Admin Assistant with a proven track record in retail. We sell the top luxury brands for Children’s Clothing and Accessories; in this role you will gain experience with internationally recognised Luxury and Premium Brands across clothing, footwear and accessories.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide full administrative support to the buyers and management: Work closely with the buyers to manage daily workflow, accurately and quickly perform all tasks given and ensure all systems and records are up to date.
• Assisting with preparation of sales reports and data analysis for Buyers
• Managing order confirmations and resolving any discrepancies.
• Maintain good working relationships with suppliers
• Requesting and processing collection information from suppliers in order to prepare the buying appointments
• Supporting the buying team with different projects such as brands research, trends analysis and competitor’s research
• Working across all areas of the business resolving product queries with other departments
• Assisting the fashion team with daily tasks
Skills
• Excellent communicator, good written and verbal communication skills
• Have a good knowledge of the childrenswear industry, especially within the luxury and premium brands
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good time management having the ability to organise, multitask and prioritise
• Good MS Office skills, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint & Word
• Numerical and analytical
