We have exciting opportunities for Buying Assistants to join our fantastic Merchandise team at Target!
This is an exciting, dynamic & fun category with a huge variety of product! Our team are doing great things & taking our category to a whole new level! To assist us in getting there, we need an incredible Buyers Assistant to support us on this journey.
What you’ll be doing:
As a Buyers Assistant working for Target, you will support our Buyers in sourcing the best possible products that bring meaningful moments into our customers lives. Some of the key responsibilities are:
Managing all marketing and coordination of samples for all advertising, including online
Managing the product registration process after sign off - from keycode creation to sampling and packaging coordination
Supporting the department by ensuring all data entry information is accurate, up to date & maintained
Provide market insights by assessing the competitive set on a regular basis and feedback to the team.
Liaising with and supporting a local supply base as well as an overseas sourcing team.

We're looking for a driven, efficient and enthusiastic individual who will bring a curious mind-set and a passion for all things retail and apparel! You love delivering product, customers are always front of mind and building and managing relationships with a variety of key stakeholders is one of your strengths. We'd also love you to have:
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage and interpret data
Strong attention to detail
Effective numerical, critical thinking and analytical skills
