My Client Group is a diversified conglomerate operating across multiple industries, and Obhai Rideshare is one of its flagship digital products, providing rideshare services in Bangladesh. We are seeking a dynamic and challenge-oriented Android Developer to join our team, initially focusing on the development and enhancement of the Obhai Rideshare Application.
Job Title: Android Developer
Experience: 3-5 years
Salary : Upto 15 LPA
Location: India (Gurgaon, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore)
Role Overview:
Client is looking for a talented Android Developer who has experience working with complex applications
and is eager to take ownership of new challenges. The developer will play a critical role in advancing the
functionality, performance, and user experience of the Obhai Rideshare app. If you are passionate about
mobile technologies and want to contribute to an exciting product in the ridesharing industry, this is the

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Android applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, usability, and reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance, ensuring responsiveness and high- quality code.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Engage in continuous improvement, reviewing existing solutions, and identifying new opportunities for feature enhancement.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Android development with a strong portfolio of released applications.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
- Proven experience in working with dynamic teams, with a proactive approach to problem- solving.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in working with maps, location services, and real-time data.
- Prior experience with ridesharing or logistics applications is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
