We've been engaged by a large European bank to provide resources to their Markets Program development team working on a wide range of projects like CTB changes, risk, and regulatory projects, version upgrades, etc.
This role will be responsible to build, ensuring quality, and shipping the next-generation Treasury platform. The team you will be joining is building a commerce platform utilizing true microservice and reactive design principles to support the full suite of client's B2B experiences
Responsibilities
As a Software Designer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Build a strong understanding of the business and current set of challenges, and then come up with a design to tackle it
- Ensure that we are implementing solutions with state-of-the-art technology
- Continue to evolve solutions and products, so that they don't become legacy with time
- Work in co-ordination with UK, US, and APAC businesses front-to-back and influence them with proposed solutions
- Strong ownership and commitment to be a part of high performant team culture with definite well-defined guidelines and processes around development and delivery practices
Skills
Must have
In order to be successful in this role, you must have the following skills & experience:
- More than 6 years of experience, preferably having some experience in the Investment Banking domain
- A minimum qualification of an Engineering Degree (B.E./B.Tech.)
- Hands-on expertise in C++, rest services, Sybase, Unix, SQL, and Design Principles.
- Should have worked on a multithreading application.
- Working experience in CICD build pipeline, Test Driven Development
- Appetite to keep up to pace with Technology trends
- Preferred experience of operating in a global team
- Preferred experience or knowledge of Fixed Income products
Nice to have
Experience in Azure or AWS Cloud is advantageous .
- Market Risk or Finance experience is advantageous.
