Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced C++ developer to join our team and handle projects related to TIP OpenWifi. As a C++ developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that meet our organization's needs.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and objectives, particularly in relation to backend development.
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software using the C++ programming language.
Utilize CMake for build automation and project management.
Ensure the security of software applications by implementing and adhering to best practices, industry standards, and secure coding principles.
Implement effective logging mechanisms to facilitate debugging, monitoring, and performance analysis of software applications.
Work with databases to handle data storage, retrieval, and management efficiently.
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues, ensuring high levels of reliability and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA engineers, product managers, and system administrators, to ensure smooth project execution.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends related to C++ development, security practices, logging frameworks, and database technologies.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers when required.
Requirements:
Strong proficiency in the C++ programming language, with at least 5 years of experience in software development using C++.
Solid understanding and hands-on experience with CMake for build automation and project management.
In-depth knowledge of secure coding practices and experience in implementing security measures to protect software applications.
Familiarity with logging frameworks and experience in implementing effective logging mechanisms for software applications.
Proficiency in working with databases, including designing schemas, writing efficient queries, and managing data.
Experience with any networking projects is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues and provide innovative solutions.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within a team.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Knowledge of network protocols, specifically related to wireless networking.
Familiarity with backend principles and deployment.
