Your Role and Responsibilities
Software development is critical to the success of IBM and our clients worldwide. At IBM, you will use the latest software development tools, techniques and approaches and work with leading minds in the industry to build solutions you can be proud of.
This opportunity is for a new data product that IBM intends to bring to the market in 2026. We are looking for seasoned professionals who are passionate about data, familiar with data warehouse, data lake and data lakehouse products currently in the market.
Professionals who are already active in open source communitites linked to these products or are active followers of such communities will have an added advantage in our hiring process

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• At least 4 years of hands-on C++ experience.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design principles and patterns.
• Knowledge of development tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Conan, and CMake.
• Proficiency in bash or shell scripting.
• Expert-level knowledge of Linux or Unix-based operating systems.
• Working knowledge of container technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience working in Agile projects
Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise
• Experience with other programming languages like Python or Go.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Master's degree in computer science.
