Must-have skills:
1. Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming
2. Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems
3. Strong understanding of system-level programming concepts such as file systems, networking, and
threading
4. Knowledge of the GNU Compiler Collection (GCC) and other Linux development tools
5. Experience with version control systems, such as Git or SVN
6. Familiarity with build tools such as make, cmake, or autotools
7. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good-to-have skills:
1. Experience with porting complex Windows applications to Linux
2. Knowledge of Linux system administration and python/shell scripting
3. Familiarity with Linux-specific APIs and libraries, such as POSIX or GNU libc
4. Experience with cross-compiling code for multiple platforms
5 Experience with code profiling and optimization techniques
6. Familiarity with other programming languages such as C#.NET
