Job Description
A senior engineer is sought to join a sophisticated technology team in the London office of a prop trading house, where software development plays a central role in business strategy. This team oversees both a trading group and core infrastructure.
This role entails taking on problems at all levels of the software stack, from low-level code driving network hardware to high-performance trading infrastructure and internal tools. You will be responsible for owning projects and writing production code from day one.
Collaborating closely with traders, this is a hands-on position with significant impact on daily work improvements. The development team enjoys flexibility when planning roadmaps and deciding which features to implement.
Key Responsibilities:
Taking ownership of projects and writing production code from day one.

Contributing to roadmap planning and feature implementation decisions.
Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience).
Expert-level experience programming in C / C++11/17/20/23 and Python.
Previous finance experience, or other significant hands-on development experience.
Linux expertise.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and consistently deliver results.
Interest in finance, machine learning, big data, and/or robotics is beneficial.
