Job Description
Are you a seasoned Software Engineer with a passion for developing cutting-edge algorithmic trading solutions? Join our Algorithmic Trading Capability Team and contribute to a growing, innovative team that focuses on delivering high-impact trading algorithms, including TWAP and VWAP strategies.
In this role, you will drive the development of advanced algorithmic trading solutions. You’ll bring deep expertise in software engineering best practices and focus on creating software products that deliver measurable business value. With our team's maturity, we are now targeting highly specialized profiles with a focus on low-latency applications, multithreading, and market microstructure knowledge.
What You’ll Do
• Develop solutions aligned with enterprise technology principles, standards, and best practices.
• Design, estimate, and deliver technical applications, including code, tests, and documentation.
• Lead the implementation of complex integrations between on-premise, cloud, and legacy systems.
• Contribute to defining and maintaining technical standards and methods, adopting market best practices.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to implement algorithmic strategies like TWAP and VWAP.
Qualifications
Key Qualifications
• 15+ years of software development experience with a versatile full-stack profile.
• Demonstrated proficiency in building multi-threaded applications for high-performance trading.
• Strong grasp of best practices in software development life cycles and agile methodologies.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset focused on delivering value-driven outcomes.
• Ability to work full time from our Customer's office
Required Skills & Experience
• Proven expertise in C# .NET development with experience in multithreading and low-latency applications.
• Strong knowledge of asynchronous messaging and market microstructure (order books, exchanges, order types).
• Hands-on front office algorithmic trading experience, with a focus on strategy implementation.
• Proficiency in Azure Platform Development (Azure Functions, Serverless Computing, Logic Apps).
• Experience with data development (T-SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, or similar).
• Familiarity with cloud-native CI/CD tools and microservices architecture.
• Demonstrated ability to build robust, scalable, and efficient applications.
Nice to Have
• Knowledge of commodities trading or market-making.
• UI development experience with Blazor.
• Expertise in ETRM systems.
• Familiarity with other programming languages such as C++, Python, or Golang.
• Experience with container technologies and deployment tools like Kubernetes (K8s).
• Knowledge of AWS Lambda and other integration technologies (e.g., MuleSoft, BizTalk).
