Job Description
- Handle all post sanction activity of Project finance deals. Liaise with Relationship team, Analyst team, Legal team and Risk team to carry out various desk activities.
- Intensive Construction and operational period monitoring of the Projects. Carry out project site visits and regular discussion with LIEs to track physical progress of the Project. Liaise with external agencies such as LIEs, Participant Banks, Escrow Agents, Insurance Agents and Regulators.
- Ensuring post disbursement compliance with approved terms and conditions, assignment of rights under project documents, review expiry of credits, insurance copies, end use certificates, security creation etc.
- Carry responsibilities of a lead bank and facility agent in consortium financing which includes issuing LCNs, facilitating participating bank disbursements, coordinate LIE site visits and holding consortium meetings.
- Monitor and manage escrow accounts and facilitate internal escrow teams for smooth functioning of escrow transactions. Obtain construction period and operational period budgets from clients and ensure for Approval of the same.
- Ensure compliance with the internal policy, credit approval terms & conditions regulatory ratio / policies for all the deals.
- Prepare and maintain monitoring sheets. Monitor all irregularities and over dues.
- Highlight early warning signals if any to top management and work on the rectification plans.
- Develop understanding of Sectors by regularly interacting with regulators, companies, secondary research and keep updated with the latest development in the Sector.
- Carry out timely review of facilities, prepare appropriate notes and obtain required approvals for various client requests.
- Closely work with existing clients and support origination work for new deals
