We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. Ultimately, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on the financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we’re compliant with all tax regulations.
Roles and responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns.
• Daily updating and entering data of transactions into Tally
• Administer the accounts’ payable and receivable function and maintain appropriate records
• Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals
• Reconcile Bank statements.
• Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner
• TDS deduction and filing returns periodically
• Creating/modifying invoices and bills
• Process the International Bank transactions for the clients/vendors
• Prepare/Manage/monitor monthly GST returns/refunds/payments
• Assist with bank account openings and bank transactions processes
• Preparing the balance sheet, profit and loss the statement, and other reports
• Ensure timely booking of regional expenses in tally and review of booking
• Complete required tax reporting in a timely manner
• Prepare and update tax provision schedules
• MIS preparation & Data analysis of key Financials areas such as debtors, cash and cash equivalents, credit, stock, revenue, borrowings etc
• Co-ordinating and achieving implementation of SOPs of various departments of the company
• Creating accurate export documentation for all EcoRight’s international shipments
• Ensure monitoring of all finances, currency processes, transactions, and documentation and manage all communication with export authorities in various countries before and after export.
• Managing EcoRight’s inward remittances, including understanding banking requirements and adhering to RBI guidelines
• Coordinating with international accounting firms to ensure accurate VAT reporting and compliance.
• Follow up complete supply chain process and related Parties, Sourcing Agents, Distributors, Dealers Vendors, Custom House Agent, Freight Forwarders, Courier Etc.
The ideal candidate should be
• Able to prepare, read and analyze financial statements.
• Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting.
• Audit financial transactions and documents
• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports
• Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards
• Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
• Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts
• Report on EcoRight’s financial health and liquidity
• Collaborate with the finance, analytics, and growth management team to implement necessary improvements
• Experience with exports and inward remittances
Preferred Qualifications and Requirements
• CA Freshers/CA Inter and/or MBA in finance
• 0-5 years of experience in accounting
• Hands on experience in using Tally software
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
