Cabinet designer/ technician

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential; experience with Adobe After Effects is a plus.

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong visualize 3-dimensionally, use a custom cabinet program, sort and apply customer details to the drawing, and maintain organized client files. This role requires ability to apply design program experience to our specific cabinet program. An understanding of our specific cabinet making details will be taught.

Duties

Develop innovative design concepts and solutions that align with project goals and client expectations.

Create cabinet orders for production in a specific format.

Determine customer needs through discussion and professional presentation of design and material options.

Assist senior designer.

Demonstrate ability to resolve issues with clients and installers.

Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve design skills and methodologies.

Prepare presentations and renderings for client reviews, incorporating feedback into final designs.

Maintain organized files and documentation of design projects for easy access and reference.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of CAD software is advantageous.

Good computer skills

Appreciation for a casual, manufacturing work atmosphere cooperating and communicating with production staff

Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

A degree in Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered.

Good attitude and willingness to learn and improve while owning your mistakes is essential. Degrees and portfolios are a bonus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 42 per week
