We are a small family owned cabinet shop in Calgary, in operation since 1985. We manufacture all our products in-house including spray painting. We have a failry well automated shop including CNC, edgebander, wide belt sander, etc. Our primary focus is customer satisfaction through good quality workmanship and meeting deadlines. Top quality is our main goal while also meeting tight customer timeframes.

Overview:
We are seeking a cabinet maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some experience working in a cabinet shop doing various tasks. Looking for someone who is reliable, shows up on time, can handle multiple duties, strong work ethic and can work in a fast paced environment independently and with others. Must have good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Responsibilities:
- Sanding, filling and repairing wood and MDF components using power and hand sanders.
- Gluing and sanding cabinet doors.
- Sanding and prep work for staining and painting.
- Staining of wood components and cabinet doors.
- Some spray painting and lacquering of components and doors.
- Delivery of cabinets and components to job site.
- Heavy lifting of materials and sheet goods in shop (up to 50 lbs.)
- Working with power tools and woodworking machinery (sanders, table saw, mitre saw)
- Other general tasks in cabinet shop.
Qualifications:
- Some experience in woodworking or cabinetry.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret cut lists and blueprints
- Experience with sanding, staining and finishing of wood is a plus.
- Capable of performing heavy lifting and physical labor
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Reliable (shows up day to day and on time).
