ATTN: Cabinet Makers
Mountain View Mill Work, Canmore Alberta’s custom wood working shop, is looking to add to its team! Located at 1406 Railway Ave Canmore Alberta, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, Mountain View Mill Works serves clientele throughout the Bow Valley, Banff townsite, and Banff National Park, with all their bespoke mill work needs.
From Restaurant build-outs, to hotel projects, to custom one off furniture creations, and cabinetry. A long with more standard mill shop projects, Mountain View Mill Work focuses on creative projects that allow true crafts people of the trade to showcase their talents.
The successful applicant will possess:
A Cabinet Maker Designation, or the equivalent training & experience
The familiarity with basic Mill Shop Machinery, and demonstrate the capability to operate machinery safely
The ability to read and interpret shop drawings
The ability to work independently
The accountability to hold themselves and their work to the highest standards
The ability to interact positively with in clients
Responsibilities
Utilize hand and power tools to construct and assemble cabinets with precision.
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate measurements and designs.
Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert advice.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety standards.
Estimate material costs and manage project timelines efficiently.
