Cabinet Maker/ Painter
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and carpentry, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. As a Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality cabinets and furniture pieces, ensuring precision in every aspect of the construction process. This role requires a blend of creativity and technical skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
Responsibilities
Interpret blueprints and schematics to create custom cabinetry designs.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery to construct cabinets and furniture.
Perform cabinet installation on-site, ensuring proper fit and finish.
Engage in restoration projects, refurbishing existing cabinetry as needed.
Execute flooring installation, tile laying, and masonry tasks as part of broader projects.
Conduct construction painting and caulking to achieve desired aesthetics.
Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects, including plumbing and electrical work.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Assist in construction estimating for project planning purposes.
Skills
Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics.
Strong woodworking skills with experience in carpentry and cabinet installation.
Familiarity with CNC machinery and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of masonry techniques and heavy lifting capabilities.
Experience with construction painting, siding, roofing, and rebar installation.
Ability to use various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Maintenance Person experience is a plus, including assembly tasks across different trades.
