The Role:
We are looking for a CAD Software developer Engineer to help us create plugins and executables in CAD software products. To do this job successfully, you need exceptional skills in programming and logical thinking. Your goal will be to shape and build efficient user-friendly applications in CAD systems.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver customized and configured solutions in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) domain.
• Develop solutions based on customer requirements
• Support solution development and deployment activities including delivery, acceptance testing, deployment packaging and user-support
• Development of solution architecture, detailing solution design and documenting the development and implementation plans with estimates
• Create documentation as appropriate for solutions developed
Qualification:
• 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in engineering, computer science, or related degree
• 3-5 years’ experience in the web and cloud technology domain
• Strong .NET skills
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
• Strong experience in front end JavaScript/Typescript, HTML5/CSS and modern web frameworks such as React and Angular, is required.
• Experience with NodeJS, ASP.net, or similar server technologies is helpful.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Waterfall and/or Agile
• Experience with version control systems/Git is preferred
• Good communications skills
• Server architecture
• Build and test Application Program Interfaces (APIs) for applications to exchange data
• Stay up to date with new trends and advancements in web development
• Document code, so other developers can understand and contribute to it
• Implementing contingency plans in case the website goes down
• Maintaining and expanding/enhancing the website once built
• Manage deployment / promotion of changes within different stages of SDLC
• Knowledge of SharePoint development would be desirable
