WSP is currently initiating a search for a Civil Designer to be based out of either our Noida or Bengaluru offices. This role is within WSP's Energy Business line and will support all types of Energy projects including renewable energy (wind, solar and energy storage), underground energy storage, and transmission and distribution substation and overlead lines projects.
• College Diploma/ Bachelors in Civil Engineering, professional studies diploma in building design, civil design or any other training deemed equivalent;
• 3-7 years experience in Renewable energy field or/and Substation structures.
• Proficiency in CIVIL 3D software
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D software and good knowledge of common office software;
• Knowledge of REVIT Structures will be added advantage
• Knowledge in the field of steel structure is considered an asset;
• High motivation and obvious concern for the client;
• Interpersonal skills, reliability, initiative and attention to detail;
• Experience in engineering consulting will be considered an asset;
• Good initiative, attention to detail;
• Ability to work in a team environment;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in a similar or senior role
