Job Title: Casual Cafe All Rounder (Experienced)
Location: Milestone Cafe and Kitchen, Southport
Start Date: 9th August

We are a soon-to-open cafe, (Milestone Cafe and Kitchen) — you won’t find us on Google Maps just yet — with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, dedicated to creating a space where both our customers and team feel at home. We're passionate about great coffee, quality food, and genuine service — and we're building a friendly, experienced team to help bring our vision to life.
About the Role
We’re looking for a casual All Rounder to join our small and supportive team. Your main responsibilities will include customer service, cold drink preparation, and light barista support. No cooking is required — you'll simply assist with floor service and food running. This is a great opportunity for someone confident on the floor and ready to step in wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and serve customers with a warm, professional attitude
Take orders and operate the POS system efficiently
Prepare and serve cold drinks; assist with coffee preparation as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organisation across floor and service areas
Support the team and contribute to a positive work environment
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 6 months’ experience in a cafe or similar hospitality setting
Confident in customer service and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented
Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
Able to work independently and stay calm under pressure
Job Type: Casual
Pay Rate: $31.19 – $38.95 per hour (based on experience and skill)
Expected Hours: 15–25 hours per week
