Cat Café Studio is open to cat lovers and enthusiasts every week from Tuesdays to Sundays between 12 PM-10 PM.

Hoomans are welcome to spend time, lounge, play, and fall in love with our adoptable kitties!

Role & Responsibilities:

As a Cafe Host, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth café operations, delivering excellent customer service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. You will be reporting and working closely in collaboration with the Head Chef.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Customer Service & Guest Experience:
• Greeting customers warmly and providing a friendly, engaging café experience.
• Assisting customers with menu recommendations, allergen information, and café policies.
• Educating guests about our café concept, house rules, and interaction guidelines for our resident cats.
• Handling customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and solution-oriented manner.
• Ensuring a positive customer experience by maintaining a cheerful and service-oriented attitude.

Cash Handling & Transaction Management:
• Processing cash, credit, and digital payments accurately and efficiently.
• Managing the Point of Sale (POS) system, issuing receipts, and handling returns/refunds as per policy.
• Keeping track of daily sales and reconciling the cash register at the end of each shift.
• Handling financial transactions securely and minimizing discrepancies.
• Assisting with vendor payouts and maintaining transaction records.

Sales & Promotions:
• Upselling menu items, merchandise, and event bookings to enhance customer engagement and revenue.
• Promoting ongoing café events, workshops, and exclusive deals to customers.
• Assisting in setting up and maintaining display sections for merchandise and bakery items.

Operational Support:
• Collaborating with baristas and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Assisting in preparing takeaway orders and packaging items as needed.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked cashier counter.
• Monitoring inventory levels for cash register supplies (e.g., receipts, packaging materials).
• Reporting any technical issues with the POS system, billing discrepancies, or cash shortages immediately.

Events & Café Initiatives:
• Supporting the Brand Manager in coordinating café events, cat adoption drives, and special promotions.
• Assisting in event logistics to ensure a smooth and successful guest experience.
• Encouraging customers to participate in community-driven initiatives and activities.

Requirements:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy for billing and POS operation.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Friendly and patient personality, comfortable interacting with customers.

- Ability to handle high footfall during peak hours.

- Passion for cats and a willingness to work in a pet-friendly environment.

CTC: INR 15,000/- - INR 20,000/- per month (depending on experience). The first three months will be your probation period.
