Position: Café Partner
Location: +85 Windermere St, Vancouver, BC
Compensation: $17.85–$23 per hour, depending on experience and skills
Hours: 30 hours per week
This is a stable full-time position with a consistent weekly schedule.
Weekly Schedule:
Thursday & Friday: 10:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Saturday & Sunday: +:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Monday: 8:45 AM – 2:15 PM (solo shift with full open/close responsibility)Total Weekly Hours: 30 hours
You Are:
Experienced as a line cook for at least 2 years, or a CDP (Chef de Partie) for at least 1 year
Able to open and close the café independently
Comfortable working solo, managing all aspects of service
A strong multitasker, able to handle prep, cooking, drinks, cleaning, and service smoothly
Calm under pressure with good problem-solving skills
Able to follow established business procedures and daily checklists
Fast, focused, and detail-oriented with a strong memory
Fluent in English — able to fully understand procedures and communicate clearly with team and customers
Passionate about food, coffee, and customer service
Open-minded, eager to learn, and team-oriented
Proficient in POS operation
Must be available every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday — no exceptions
A Canadian Permanent Resident or Citizen
Seeking a long-term position (minimum 1 year)
✅ Barista experience is a strong asset — training can be provided for the right person
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Food preparation and plating
Making coffee and drinks, taking customer orders
Dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness
Providing friendly and efficient customer service
Managing inventory and ensuring food safety standards
Following operational procedures and completing checklists
Handling day-to-day tasks independently when needed
Opening and closing the café
