About the Role
Join our optical manufacturing team as a Calibration Technician supporting precision equipment across four specialized factories. You'll ensure measurement accuracy and equipment reliability through systematic calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance—directly impacting product quality and production efficiency.
Schedule: Primary 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM); must be flexible for 2nd/3rd shift based on business needs. (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM or 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
What You'll Do
Perform calibrations on RF, electrical, mechanical, ESD, and optical equipment
Manage calibration schedules and documentation through ARAMIS tracking system across Optical Fabrication, Diamond Point Turning, Coating, and Assembly/Test facilities
Execute quality-compliant calibrations and support audit requirements
Troubleshoot equipment issues and read electrical schematics to diagnose problems
Collaborate with experienced equipment techs to maintain calibration integrity across all production areas
What You'll Bring
Required:
4+ years calibration experience with tools, instruments, and equipment in production/factory environments
Hands-on experience calibrating RF, electrical, mechanical, ESD, or optical equipment
Working knowledge of lab/asset management systems for calibration tracking
Understanding of traceability standards, SI units, and measurement hierarchy
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Highly Valued:
ASQ-CCT or equivalent certification (can substitute for some experience requirements)
Advanced troubleshooting capabilities with electrical schematics
