Call Centre Operator
An exciting opportunity has become available with Are Direct NZ Limited.
On behalf of local and international magazine publishers, Are Direct, expertly manages the distribution and promotion of millions of magazines into over 3,000 retailers throughout New Zealand.
This position will be based at the company’s head office at Enterprise Park in Wiri.
This role is primarily an outbound customer care and relationship role. It will also support inbound calls & emails on key magazine delivery days. You will be working in a Call Centre team and the key responsibilities of this role include:
Support and interact with our retail customers on a regular basis to provide courteous & professional customer service, delivering a positive experience for each individual/situation
Develop & cultivate strong customer relationships, engaging via outbound calling & emailing
Having the ability to listen to customers, to understand the reason for their contact, address all questions or queries
Maintain internal relationships so you have a strong understanding of operational aspects and any active situations that may affect our customers
Learn systems and processes to ensure good maintenance and procedure knowledge
This position reports directly to the Call Centre Team Leader and will have a close connection with the Outbound Customer Care Specialist.
As this is a Call Centre and customer care role, we are seeking candidates who are strong communicators and enjoy building relationships, are approachable with a fun and vibrant personality and have an ability to ask questions and diffuse tense situations.
Good organisational skills, an eye for detail and the ability to work to deadlines. Sound knowledge of excel, outlook, and effective communication skills are essential to this role.
This role will ideally be suited to someone that has had prior call centre but is not limited to this. Full training will be provided.
