Job Description
A well-functioning campus goes unnoticed. A poorly run one disrupts everything. This position ensures Alpha campuses maintain consistency, safety, and operational confidence on a daily basis.
Alpha is developing one of the world's most ambitious educational models. Our classrooms operate at high speed. Our expectations are rigorous. That demands campus operations that are disciplined, agile, and designed for scalability. This role is responsible for all non-classroom operations that enable students and Guides to excel.
You will serve as the operational foundation of the campus. Your scope includes parent and staff communications, safety and security oversight, facility and logistics coordination, and ensuring reliable technology access for students and staff. You intervene when systems fail, identify potential issues before they grow, and provide structured support in fast-moving environments.
This is not a limited administrative position. It is a hands-on, high-visibility role suited for someone who excels with responsibility, variety, and execution. If you seek work where your choices directly impact student safety, staff performance, and parent confidence, this role provides genuine ownership and accountability.
What You Will Be Doing
• Serving as a key contact for parents, students, and staff to provide timely, clear, and professional communication
• Overseeing campus safety protocols including access management, health response, emergency drills, incident documentation, and parent notifications
• Coordinating daily campus logistics including attendance tracking, transportation arrangements, facilities upkeep, and office administration
• Assisting with onboarding and training of new team members to ensure they are operationally prepared from the start
• Administering student devices and campus technology, functioning as the on-site Google Administrator and technology point person
What You Won’t Be Doing
• Delivering classroom instruction or providing academic support
• Mentoring Guides or influencing curriculum design
• Functioning in a strictly administrative or limited-scope capacity
• Working in a stable or entirely predictable setting
• Escalating unresolved issues rather than taking ownership of solutions
Campus Manager Key Responsibilities
Ensure safe, efficient, and dependable campus operations that continuously enhance the experience of students, staff, and parents.
Basic Requirements
• Bachelor's degree (no specific field required)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities management, site operations, or comparable operational functions
• Proficiency with basic technology tasks such as device configuration, troubleshooting, and account management
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with parents, staff, and external vendors
• Capacity to juggle competing priorities while preserving attention to detail
• Work authorization in the United States without need for visa sponsorship
• Must be able to work in person in Lake Forest, CA; Piedmont, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Chicago, IL; or Fort Worth, TX
