ICG is searching for a Lead Mechanical Engineer with some previous experience in the Large Construction Field. It is anticipated that the applicant will have at least + years total experience in the field of Lead Mechanical Engineer. The requirements of the position are as follows:
• Lead mechanical design activities and assist in cross discipline coordination.
• Review the design and construction programs and highlight key risks.
• reviewing the overall status of the MEP works reporting on the progress of all MEP aspects of the project to the project director, design and the team.
• Assisting in the scheduling of design reviews at all gateways and control points
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members
• Manage the discipline/project resources including deliverables production
Required Skills
• Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
• Minimum of 8 years of experience.
• Experience in the Mechanical Infrastructure Projects (Preferred experience in airport/aviation engineering and construction projects).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Candidate with airport projects experience will be at an advantage
Attributes
• A team player with the ability to establish good working relationships with clients, line management and project.
• Good technical, analytical and organizational, skills.
• Good knowledge of construction and general application of principles, theories and industry practices and standards
• Flexible approach to work and the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to make good judgments.
