About the Role
As a Canteen Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school canteen, providing quality service and nutritious meals to students and staff.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and serving fresh, healthy meals and snacks to students and staff.
Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for food preparation and storage.
Operating a cash register and handling transactions efficiently.
Adhering to food safety and Workplace Health and Safety practices.
Collaborating with team members to ensure the effective operation of the canteen.
Working hours:
Monday: 8:00am to 12:30pm (4.5 hours, no break).
Friday: 8:00am to 2:00pm (6 hours including a 30-minute break).
This role would suit an enthusiastic and reliable individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Good communication and customer service skills.
Food handling experience (preferred but not essential).
A commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic workspace.
