Job Description
Your Role:
As a restaurant Supervisor/Captain you are responsible for maintaining the high standards of service, food quality, and guest satisfaction within the hotel's dining outlets. Responsibilities will include:
• Manage and coordinate the work of restaurant and bar staff, including servers, bartenders, hostess. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Ensure that all staff members adhere to the hotel's service standards, including etiquette, grooming, and uniform policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Oversee the flow of food and beverage orders, ensuring that orders are accurate and delivered to guests in a timely manner.
• Monitor the quality and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring they meet established standards.
• Manage inventory for food and beverage items, including ordering, stock control, and minimizing wastage.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and responsible ******* service.
• Create and manage work schedules for staff, taking into account occupancy levels and special events.
• Train new and existing staff on service procedures, menu knowledge, and customer service techniques.
• Handle billing and payment processes, ensuring accuracy and providing change or receipts to guests.
• Ensure that dining areas, bar areas, and equipment are clean, well-maintained, and properly stocked.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on dining outlet performance to hotel management.
• Assist in the development and execution of marketing and promotional strategies to attract customers and increase revenue.
Coordinate and oversee special events, banquets, and private dining functions within the dining outlets.
Skills & Requirements:
• Hotel Management and/or skill relevant education preferred
• Pleasing personality and good communication skills
• Computer dexterity: MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
• Prior relevant hospitality experience in position of application.
