Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and efficient car driver to handle the transportation of customer vehicles to and from service centres. The driver will be responsible for picking up vehicles from customers, delivering them to the designated service centres, and returning them after the service is completed. The ideal candidate should have a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and knowledge of local routes.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick up vehicles from customers and deliver them to the assigned service centres.
Collect serviced vehicles from the service centres and return them to customers promptly.
Ensure vehicles are handled with care during transit and that any customer-specific instructions are followed.
Perform basic vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tire pressure) before transport to ensure safety.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle pick-up and drop-off, including dates, times, and any relevant observations (e.g., damages or issues with the vehicle).
Coordinate with service centre staff and customers to schedule pick-up and delivery times.
Keep the vehicles clean and ensure they are in good condition before returning them to customers.
Report any issues with the vehicles during transit, including accidents or mechanical problems.
Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies to ensure the safe and timely transport of vehicles.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Experience as a driver, preferably in vehicle transport or service-related roles.
Knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
Ability to handle different types of vehicles (manual, automatic, sedans, SUVs, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to vehicle safety.
Excellent time management and reliability.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with customers and service centre staff.
Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and early mornings or late evenings when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with automotive service centres or dealerships.
Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
Defensive driving certification is a plus.
