About us
Carafix Caravan Repairs is the leading caravan servicing and repairs centre on the Gold Coast. Our team are dedicated to getting Australians out on the road, exploring this great land!
We are a tight-knit team of 10 who are passionate about caring for caravans and RVs – their servicing, repairs and modifications. We pride ourselves on being solutions-focused and prioritising quality workmanship. Our busy workshop is booked out months in advance, and we are recruiting for a new Caravan Service and Technician to join our team. We particularly want to hear from mechanics, and 3rd or 4th year automotive apprentices who are familiar with axle servicing.
What does your day-to-day look like?
Each day you will work closely with the Workshop and Operations Manager who will handover the jobs to be completed, with clear guidelines on timeframes, process and parts required. The work is diverse, including warranty and insurance jobs involving:
Re-cladding and accident repair
Fitment of caravan and RV accessories including solar panel upgrades
Caravan Servicing ie brakes and bearings
Fitting and fault finding with 12V systems
Water ingress repairs
Some cabinetry work, welding, paint, plumbing and 240 volt electrical

What you bring to the table
Prior experience in repairs, servicing or manufacture within the caravan, boating or motorhome industry
Excellent attention to detail and pride in your results
A positive, ‘can-do’ approach to life and willingness to learn new skills
A high level of craftsmanship and quality in your work
The ability to show initiative and work unsupervised
Strong problem-solving and time management skills
