Cardiac Anaesthesiologist - WNKCA2103XXXXXX
• Meeting with patients before medical procedures to discuss their medical history and lifestyle.
• Assessing patients' conditions through analysis of medical history.
• Explaining to patients the surgical process.
• Administering anaesthesia and monitoring patient vital signs during medical and surgical procedures, and making appropriate adjustments in anaesthesia to ensure patient comfort.
• Monitoring patient vital signs and pain management after surgical and medical procedures to ensure patient comfort.
• Maintaining patient records relating to their procedures and the type and amounts of medications given.
• Provides anaesthesia to patients who undergo surgery and other procedures.
• Serve unique duty positions for the anaesthesia service and the medical school faculty.
• Provides direct patient care for clinical patients.
• Primary job responsibility will be to direct the clinical anaesthesia service, participate in didactic instruction in anesthesiology and related disciplines, supervise students in anaesthesia and surgery labs, provide clinical instruction of professional students in the Medical Teaching Hospital and provide anaesthesia training of interns, residents and graduate students from various disciplines.
• Committed to excellent patient management, client service and clinical teaching.
• Expected to participate in general anaesthesia service activities such as meetings, resident seminars, journal club and rounds.
Key Skills
• Registered with MCI and GMC.
• A strong working knowledge of maths, science, and medical practices.
• Ability to make quick decisions in a highly stressful environment.
• Knowledge of multiple languages will be an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong detail-oriented ability.
• Specialisation in chronic heart conditions.
• Hands-on experience with the modern treatment techniques and technologies trends.
