Role Overview
As a Cardiac Care Trainer Technician, you will train and mentor students pursuing the Diploma in Cardiac Care Technician program. Your role blends theoretical instruction with hands-on practical training, preparing students for careers in cardiac diagnostics and monitoring.
Key Responsibilities: Training & Curriculum Delivery
Plan and conduct lectures on cardiac care fundamentals (ECG/EKG interpretation, stress testing, ambulatory monitoring).
Lead hands-on sessions: ECG machine operation, Holter monitors, stress test protocols, emergency response drills.
Supervise and evaluate students during clinical internships.
Student Mentorship & Support
Provide one-on-one academic guidance and career counseling.
Track student performance and progress reports.
Clinical Coordination
Coordinate clinical postings at hospitals or cardiac diagnostic centers.
Ensure students comply with all safety guidelines and patient-care protocols.
Required Qualifications
Education: B.Sc or Diploma in Cardiac Care Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or similar. M.Sc or equivalent is preferred.
Experience: 1–3 years in cardiac diagnostics like ECG, stress testing, Holter monitoring; experience in teaching/training is a strong plus.
Professional Skills
Proficiency with cardiac monitoring equipment (ECG, ambulatory monitors, stress test systems).
Strong teaching abilities: lectures, practical demos, interactive learning.
Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Curriculum design and assessment capabilities.
Familiarity with digital teaching aids (LMS, PowerPoint).
Commitment to maintaining clinical safety and student well-being.
