Job description
Company Description
Claria Life & Health Insurance Company real estate development division is seeking a Design & Development Coordinator (Entry-Level)
Hospitality • Office • Retail Development
About the Role
We’re building places people actually want to be—hotels with personality, offices that inspire, and retail spaces that create energy.
We’re looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and curious Design & Development Coordinator to join our team. This is a true entry-level role—no prior experience needed—just a strong work ethic, interest in real estate/hospitality, and a willingness to learn.
You’ll work directly with experienced developers, designers, and hotel brand teams, getting real exposure to how projects go from idea → design → construction → opening.
What You’ll Be Doing
Get in the Room Where It Happens
• Sit in on meetings with architects, interior designers, consultants, and hotel brand teams
• Help keep projects moving by tracking tasks, timelines, and deliverables
Learn Hotel Branding & Design
• Support how hotel brands come to life in real spaces (not just logos—full guest experience)
• Assist with design packages, layouts, and FF&E selections
• Help put together presentations that tell the story of a project
Be Part of Real Projects (Day One)
• Work on active hotel, office, and retail developments
• Track progress from early concept through construction
• Join site visits and see projects being built in real time
Keep Everything Organized
• Manage files, notes, and communications across teams
• Track action items and follow-ups so nothing falls through the cracks
What You Need (and Don’t Need)
You DO need:
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• A proactive, “I’ll figure it out” mindset
• Good communication skills
You DON’T need:
• Prior full-time experience
• Deep technical knowledge (we’ll teach you)
What You’ll Learn
• How hotel brands shape design, layout, and guest experience
• What it takes to build hospitality-driven mixed-use projects
Why This Is a Great Opportunity
• 🚀 No experience required — we train you
• 🧠 Learn fast — direct exposure to real projects, not busywork
• 🤝 Mentorship — work closely with experienced developers
• 🏗 Real impact — see projects you worked on get built
• 📈 Growth path — clear opportunity to move into development, design, or project management
Who This Is Perfect For
Someone early in their career who is:
• Interested in both design AND business
• Organized, reliable, and eager to learn
