Roles and Responsibilities
Perform Anaesthesia machine check, check laryngoscopes with blades.
Ensure all necessary items required for anaesthesia (Regional anaesthesia set, anaesthetic drugs and disposables are issued from the Theatre pharmacy.
To check anaesthesia / surgical consent, billing clearance before shifting the patient to OT
.To assist anaesthesiologist in conducting anaesthesia session.
Infection control measures are followed, e.g. cleaning laryngoscopic blade.
To help surgeon in giving desired position to the patient adjusting OT lights and checking
equipment required for that surgery. Assist the floor nurse.
Shift the patient to PACU after end of surgery
.Maintain proper record of drugs disposables used during surgery.
Return the items (drugs & disposables etc) left over after surgery and get issued new items for next case. Before shifting next patient make sure that OT is properly cleaned and spills are taken care ofaccording to protocol.
Strict asepsis and infection control guidelines are followed as per the manual.

Minimum Experience- 01 Year in Cardiac OT
Designation- Technician
Qualification- Diploma/ Degree
