About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an Advanced Trainee in Cardiology to join the Cardiology team at Dunedin Hospital.
This RACP accredited Advanced Training position offers comprehensive subspecialty exposure within a tertiary level teaching hospital serving a large regional population across Southern New Zealand. You will work within a supportive and collegial cardiology team alongside experienced consultants committed to high quality clinical care, education, mentorship, and trainee development.
The role provides excellent clinical experience across a broad spectrum of cardiology, including acute and chronic cardiac conditions, non-invasive cardiac investigations, inpatient and outpatient cardiology care, and multidisciplinary management of complex patients.
You will be supported through structured supervision, protected teaching time, regular feedback, and opportunities to progressively build autonomy and leadership skills as you prepare for consultant practice.
