Job Title: Care Counsellor
Job Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Care Counsellor. This role is akin to being a loving daughter to an elderly couple. You will provide care and companionship, helping them navigate daily tasks and enjoy life to the fullest.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit an assigned elderly couple near you 2-4 times a month, with each visit lasting approximately 2 hours.
- Accompany the couple to medical appointments, the hospital, and the bank when needed.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating day-to-day activities and requirements.
- Provide companionship and support, ensuring they feel cared for and attended to.
- Participate in leisure activities with the couple, such as accompanying them to exhibitions, coffee outings, shopping, etc., to enrich their lives.
- Act as a reliable and warm-hearted presence, helping them feel safe, valued, and understood.
Desired Qualities:
- A compassionate and empathetic nature, prefarably women, treating the elderly with the same care and attention you would give to your own parents.
- Good organizational skills to manage appointments, errands, and activities.
- Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to assist when needed.
- Patience and excellent interpersonal skills to create a comfortable, trusting environment for the couple.
Work Schedule:
- 2-4 visits per month, each visit approximately 2 hours.
Location:
- The elderly couple assigned to you will be near your local area.
