Care & Support Assistant - Bank Team.
Buxton House - Weymouth.
Pay Rate: £11.75 to £12.00 per hour ( Plus Accrued Holiday )
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Bank Days or Nights Care & Support Assistant TEAM at Buxton House our purpose-built, friendly, social, residential and dementia care home, located near the historic Jurassic Coast in Weymouth, Dorset.
You will be part of our support team, assisting the home on a Bank Contract giving you flexibility & choice.

What you will be doing:
• Delivering excellent person centred care.
• Supporting & encouraging our residents to remain as independent as possible.
• Providing elements of personal care including washing & dressing where needed.
• Building relationships and providing companionship - getting to know our residents!
• Working in a team to create a co-operative, friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the home.
Who we are looking for:
We want you to have a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.
You'll need to be naturally compassionate and understanding of others.
Previous care experience is not essential.
A full induction and training programme will be provided to support you.
