Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and goal-oriented Career Counselor to guide and assist students/professionals in choosing the right career path through effective counseling. This is a target-driven role that involves calling, prospecting, and converting leads into admissions. You will play a pivotal role in the organization’s growth by helping individuals make informed education or career decisions.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs):
Lead Calling & Follow-Ups:
Call assigned leads and inquiries within defined TAT.
Conduct telephonic counseling sessions to understand student needs and provide relevant course/career options.
Ensure timely and multiple follow-ups with potential candidates.
Prospecting & Pipeline Management:
Identify prospective students through cold calling, references, and networking.
Maintain and update lead records in the CRM regularly.
Nurture leads through the counseling journey until closure.
Counseling & Conversion:
Provide end-to-end career counseling to help candidates understand available programs.
Address student queries and objections effectively.
Convert prospects into confirmed admissions through persuasive and value-driven communication.
Target Achievement:
Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly admission and revenue targets.
Work under pressure while maintaining a high conversion ratio.
Handle a fixed number of daily calls and productive interactions as per performance metrics.
Reporting & Coordination:
Provide regular updates to team leads and managers.
Coordinate with the marketing and operations teams for smooth onboarding of students.
Share feedback from students to help improve services or offerings.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Number of daily outbound calls
Lead-to-admission conversion rate
Achievement of monthly admission/revenue targets
Timeliness of follow-ups and CRM updates
Quality and effectiveness of counseling sessions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (preferred background in counseling, sales, education, or related fields).
1–3 years of experience in academic counseling, telesales, or inside sales.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong persuasion and closing skills.
Ability to work in a target-oriented environment.
Familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
Compensation:
Fixed Salary + Performance-Based Incentives

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
