As a Career Management Specialist, you’ll support our return to work strategy by delivering tailored career coaching to injured workers and internal case managers. Working within various portfolios, you’ll provide practical, person-centred support to help people re-enter the workforce with confidence.
This role suits someone with a public sector background and strong communication skills, who can navigate complex situations and keep people engaged in their return-to-work journey.
This will be a permanent, full-time position based in our Sydney CBD offices, with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver one-on-one career coaching to workers, tailored to individual goals and circumstances
Guide participants through career transition, job search planning, and skills identification
Build and maintain strong relationship with stakeholders to support sustainable return-to-work outcomes
Facilitate career management workshops and training sessions as needed
Keep accurate records and contribute to reporting, audits and quality assurance activities
Provide input on program improvements and share feedback to strengthen service delivery
ABOUT YOU
Experience in career coaching, employment services, recruitment, HR or a related field
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
Confident working independently and managing a varied caseload
Skilled in guiding individuals through career change and employment transitions
Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable using digital tools to support service delivery
Experience in or with the public sector is highly desirable but not essential
Knowledge of workers compensation legislation across multiple jurisdictions is considered an advantage
