You must be an excellent communicator and will need to be confident, compassionate, reliable and local with good transportation links. You must be able to follow a care plan, work as a team and individually and use your own initiative with good observational skills.
Care experience not essential but a kind heart and willing to enrich someone’s life is essential.
This role will require someone who can assist in accessing meaningful activities, assist with social gatherings and maintaining relationship with family members.
A female PA would be required due to the nature of the personal care as is in line with the Equality Act 2010. For further information, please see “Equality Act 2010, Schedule * Work: exceptions, part 1 Occupational requirements”.
A DBS will be paid for by the employer.
