Hello. We’re Virgin Australia. And we’re back (in a big way).

We’re the airline that’s always done things a little different. Our way. The Virgin way. For us, flying is so much more than simply taking off and landing (although we understand that is quite important). It’s about going the extra mile, in the air and on the ground, to create authentic experiences that put our guests firmly at the heart of everything we do.

About Virgin Australia Cargo

Virgin Australia Cargo is a dynamic part of the Virgin Australia Group, delivering reliable and flexible freight solutions across the country. Oversee governance and compliance to maintain operational excellence.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building meaningful partnerships, thrives on strategic thinking, and wants to make a real impact in a fast paced, customer focused environment.

You’ll be great in this role if you:

Have extensive knowledge of air freight and cargo operations
Bring experience in revenue management and commercial sales environments
Understand business development and sales best practices
Excel in interpersonal communication and relationship management
Are confident in stakeholder engagement across internal and external networks
Possess strong analytical and reporting capabilities
Communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally
Are highly organised with strong planning skills
Thrive on solving problems with practical, customer-focused solutions
Are proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with revenue reporting tools (desirable)
Have working knowledge of iCargo software (desirable)
Understand cargo operations including sales, market trends, pricing, and industry best practices (desirable)
Are familiar with the cargo (freight) industry, including product types and customer expectations (desirable)
