Responsibilities
Fabricate and install structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard.
Perform heavy lifting as required for various construction tasks.
Operate CNC machinery for precision cutting and shaping of materials.
Install drywall and perform finishing tasks to ensure a smooth surface.
Carry out flooring installation, ensuring proper alignment and secure fitting.
Utilize hand tools effectively for measuring, cutting, and assembling materials.
Assist with electrical installations as needed, including wiring and fixture placements.
Ensure plumbing installations are accurate and meet building codes.
Engage in concrete forming for foundations, slabs, and other structures.
Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
Skills
Proficient in carpentry techniques with a strong understanding of building codes.
Experience in fabricating custom woodwork and cabinetry.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Familiarity with CNC machinery for advanced woodworking tasks.
Knowledge of drywall installation techniques and finishing processes.
Skilled in flooring installation methods for various types of surfaces.
Competent in using hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers, and levels.
Basic understanding of electrical systems related to carpentry work.
Knowledgeable in plumbing basics relevant to carpentry projects.
Experience with concrete forming techniques for structural applications.
