Job description

Thorn Baker Construction is looking for an experienced Joiner or Carpenter to join a refurbishment project in Bristol. This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, hard-working, and looking to start work immediately.

Daily Duties Include

• 1 st and 2nd fix work

• Moving and handling materials

• Keeping the site tidy and safe

Requirements

• Two recent references from commercial construction roles

• Valid CSCS Card (preferred but not essential)

• Previous experience working on construction sites

• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude

The Company:

ITH Construction Limited was first established in 2013 and is a construction company based in Narberth that specialises in building small to medium size housing developments, extensions and building work throughout Pembrokeshire. ITH has an excellent reputation in the local community with many established and loyal customers who use us year after year.

The Role:

ITH are seeking an experienced Carpenter on a full-time basis to support with ongoing projects.

Responsibilities include:

Frist and second fix carpentry

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures

Fabricate and assemble wooden frameworks

Use hand tools and operate power tools safely and effectively, as and when required

Ensure all work is completed in accordance with specifications and safety regulations

Collaborate with colleagues effectively to ensure project completion

Conduct repairs on existing structures as needed

Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Required skills/qualifications/experience:

Previous experience of performing a role as a Carpenter

Level 3 qualification in Carpentry would be preferable

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Full UK driving license

CSCS card
