Position: Carpenter
Salary:80,000 to 100,000 plus superannuation
Type of employment: Full time permanent

With a fleet of over 220 specialized assets, 250 staff and 14 years of experience, Perfect Group manages large scale demolition projects, earthworks, remediation and waste management to tier 1 and tier 2 clients.
Position in nutshell
You will construct, install, repair, and maintain structures and fixtures made of timber and other materials. They work across residential, commercial, and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with Australian building codes, WHS requirements, and project specifications.
Your duties
Interpret construction plans, drawings, and technical specifications to guide project work
Measure, cut, shape, and join timber and other building materials with precision
Construct structural components including frameworks, formwork, roofs, walls, floors, and internal partitions
Install fixtures such as doors, windows, cabinetry, staircases, and other fittings
Assemble pre‑cut or pre‑prepared timber elements to form structures and functional installations
Build and install formwork for concrete foundations, slabs, beams, and columns
Erect temporary structures including scaffolding, hoardings, and other site supports
Install structural timber components in accordance with building standards
Inspect damaged structures to determine appropriate repair methods
Repair or replace timber components, fixtures, and fittings as required
Carry out maintenance on existing structures to ensure safety, compliance, and structural integrity
About you
5+ years of experience in Carpentry.
Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and construction method
Understanding of Australian building codes and WHS requirements
High leave of precision, problem solving and trouble shooting skills
Intermediate level of Microsoft office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Access to reliable car and ability to travel across grater Sydney as per job requirements
